A new passenger record for April was set this year at ICT, with 70,426 enplanements (departing passengers). This marks a 3% increase over the previous high of 68,153 in April 2019 and a 4% increase compared to April 2023. The number of scheduled seats in April was just 0.1% higher than in April 2023 and 1.8% higher than in April 2019. The total number of passengers departing and arriving in April reached 139,526, representing a 4.56% increase. For the year, overall passenger traffic has risen by 8.46%.
There were 32 average weekday departures in April, up from 29 last year. Outbound air cargo tonnage increased by 4.73%, while inbound tonnage saw a slight decrease of 0.20%. Additionally, food and gift revenue grew by 1.65%, and rental car revenue increased by 1.72%.
