The summer travel season has begun!  Allegiant has resumed seasonal service to Tampa/St. Petersburg, Orlando-Sanford, and Los Angeles.  Allegiant also flies twice weekly to Phoenix/Mesa, Las Vegas, and Destin.

Days of operation:

  • Destin – Sunday, Thursday, Saturday
  • Los Angeles – Sunday, Thursday
  • Orlando/Sanford – Wednesday, Saturday
  • Las Vegas – Sunday, Thursday
  • Phoenix/Mesa – Wednesday, Saturday

American Airlines has made some adjustments to the Washington, D.C., flight schedule. In June, the flight to DCA will leave Wichita at 1:10 p.m., arriving in Washington at 5:03 p.m. From DCA, the flight will depart at 10:20 a.m. and arrive in Wichita at 12:39 p.m. Starting in August, the flight to DCA will depart at 5:41 p.m., arriving in Washington at 9:26 p.m. From DCA, the flight will depart at 2:30 p.m. and arrive in Wichita at 4:45 p.m. Weekend schedules vary. This schedule will remain through the year.

American Airlines has added a 9th daily flight to Dallas/Fort Worth.  American Airlines added a third daily flight to Chicago in April. United Airlines added a third daily flight to Chicago in April.

American Airlines  nonstop service to Miami will return on November 9.  Flights will operate on Saturdays. Not only is Miami a fun destination, but a great cruise port and has convenient access to popular Caribbean destinations.  Book your flights at aa.com.

Southwest Airlines revised its schedule, restoring a second daily to Denver.  In addition, Southwest will operate nonstop service to Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport in November and December.  Flights will operate all days except Saturdays.  Book your flights at southwest.com.
