Passenger traffic at Wichita Eisenhower National Airport increased 9% over March 2023, with a total of 140,993 passengers who flew in and out of ICT. A strong spring break season boosted the demand for air travel. Year-to-date, total passengers are up nearly 10%, at 387,614. The first quarter of 2024 enplanements have exceeded the pre-pandemic first quarter of 2019 by 1%.
Scheduled flights were up 11.5% and scheduled seats increased 13.6% over March 2023.

Revenue from food and gift concessions increased 6.2%, rental cars increased 1.38%, and parking revenue increased nearly 29%.
Air cargo continued its downward trend. Outbound cargo tonnage fell 8.86% and inbound cargo tonnage fell 16.65%. Year-to-date, air cargo tonnage is down 9.32%.
