Travel Tips for Our Six Airlines

Click Airline to Book

  • Book your flight at least 3 weeks in advance. Fares increase closer to your departure date.
  • When you find a good fare, book it. Fares can change several times a day.
  • Book directly through an airline’s website. If ticket prices change between booking and departure the difference can usually be refunded.
  • Direct booking also allows better seats and ways to address flight delays, changes, or cancellations.
  • Online travel agencies such as Expedia can show several airline options, however, Southwest and Allegiant do not publish flights on them. Go to airline sites to book directly.

Convenient and Competitive

Project Wichita surveys showed affordable and more direct flights were priorities for the community. Together, we’ve helped make that a reality, with 2019 marking a record high with 1.7 million passengers. ICT’s average fare is competitive with regional options.

U.S. DOT Q3 2022 Average Fares which include round-trips, and one-way tickets if no return is purchased.

Clean airport. Easy to navigate, probably because it's small. Staff is friendly, even the gate agents. There's one main area with a few eateries, so food … More options may be limited. If you have dietary restrictions, you may want to bring your own food. Baggage claim is quick and easy. Both parking and car rentals are just a few steps away. Even when I'm getting picked-up, transportation is easy and there is only a second island.
Overall I really enjoy flying in and out of this airport.

Quick in and out with efficient TSA and convenient parking. One of my favorite airports to travel in and out of. 12 gates but you can go anywhere in the world from … More here.

One of the easiest airports to fly in and out of. The only downside is that there aren’t many direct flights. Other than that, I highly recommend. Navigating is … More very simple and it’s never overly crowded or understaffed.
