Beginning Monday, June 20 through Friday, June 24, passengers may enroll in the popular TSA Pre✓® expedited screening program at Wichita Eisenhower National Airport. A temporary enrollment center will be set up in the business center on the second floor of the terminal building and will be open from 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m..
TSA Pre✓® is an expedited screening program that enables identified low-risk air travelers to enjoy a smart and more efficient screening experience. For TSA Pre✓® travelers, there is no need to remove shoes, 3-1-1 liquids, laptops, light outerwear or belts. Today, TSA Pre✓® has more than 450 lanes at 167 U.S. airports.
Applying for TSA Pre✓® through this local enrollment event is easy. Passengers can begin the process by pre-enrolling online at the Universal Enrollment website. Click on the words, “Get Started” to begin the pre-enrollment process. Follow the prompts and set up an appointment to visit the enrollment center at ICT. Walk-ins are also accepted.
To complete the application process, you will need to bring proof of identity and U.S. citizen or lawful permanent residency documentation (such as a U.S. Passport or a birth certificate and a driver license). If you have a valid U.S. passport, that is all you need for ID. For a complete list of acceptable documents, please visit http://www.tsa.gov/tsa-precheck/required-documentation. The application process is completed on site where fingerprints are captured for a background check and the $85 application fee is collected. The fee covers a five year membership. The non-refundable fee can be paid by credit card, money order, company check, or certified/cashier’s check. Cash and personal checks are not accepted.
