The City of Wichita, Kansas, intends to undertake the following proposed actions at Colonel James Jabara Airport:
- On the Airport Layout Plan (ALP), change a 95-acre portion of airport property from aeronautical to non-aeronautical land use.
- Construct three buildings ranging from 470,660 square feet to 509,580 square feet each for commercial, manufacturing, and/or warehouse use.
- Construct associated site improvements such as parking lots, ancillary roads, and utilities.

The draft environmental assessment (EA) describing the impacts of the proposed action will be available for public review until October 6, 2025.
