Good news! Frontier Airlines will add a 4th weekly flight to Denver starting Nov. 10. In addition, Frontier has adjusted their schedule and starting Nov. 18 will fly on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Flights will depart ICT @ 8:07 pm; arrive DEN @ 8:55 pm. From Denver, flights will depart DEN @ 4:51 pm; arrive ICT @ 7:22 pm.
Frontier began service to Denver on August 30, 2018. Since then, average fares to Denver have dropped 48% and passenger traffic has increased 131% (Q4 2017 vs. Q4 2018). Frontier’s low fares have enabled passengers to fly to Denver from Wichita instead of driving to Denver or driving to a competing airport. The fourth weekly flight will allow passengers more flexibility in travel schedules and convenience for business and leisure trips.
Wichita catchment passengers have supported this route and as a result, Frontier is adding this flight. Continued support of Frontier will lead to more low-fare destinations.
