Wichita Eisenhower National Airport has set a new record for the month of April, with 141,797 total passengers traveling through the airport. This figure surpasses the previous April record of 139,526 passengers, set in 2024, marking a 1.63% increase.
Although this is a strong showing for April, total passenger numbers for the year remain slightly down by 0.32%. The dip is largely due to the extra day last February, a leap year.
April 2025 also saw a boost in flight activity, with 84 more scheduled flights—an increase of 8.8%—and 3,060 additional scheduled seats, up 3.5% compared to April of last year.
