Wichita Dwight D. Eisenhower National Airport is once again in the running for USA TODAY 10BEST Readers’ Choice Awards’ Best Small Airport, and we need your help to show the country what Wichita already knows.
ICT may be considered a “small” airport, but we think that’s one of our biggest advantages.
Flying from ICT means spending less time navigating a massive airport and more time enjoying the journey. From convenient parking, to a terminal that’s easy to navigate, and a team committed to providing a clean, safe and friendly experience, our goal is to make traveling as easy as possible.
Travelers are taking notice. ICT has earned a spot among the nation’s best small airports multiple times, including a No. 3 finish in 2023. In 2025, more than 1.8 million passengers traveled through ICT, setting a new annual passenger record and continuing the airport’s strong momentum.
But this award is about more than bragging rights.
National recognition for ICT puts Wichita and our entire region in the spotlight. A strong showing helps showcase our community to travelers and reinforces the value of supporting our hometown airport. Previous ICT campaigns have also highlighted how national recognition can support tourism, conventions and sporting events while strengthening the airport’s relationships with airlines.
Most importantly, a vote for ICT is a vote for the people who make the airport experience possible every day: from airline and TSA employees to airport staff, concessionaires, rental car teams, volunteers and countless others working behind the scenes.
