Safe Travels to Wenatchee

If you’re looking for a relaxing vacation in the mountains with stunning views, check out Wenatchee.  Wenatchee is located in the center of Washington state, nestled between the Cascade Mountains and the Columbia River.   The town gets upwards of 300 days of sunshine and blue skies a year.  Walk or cycle through the blooming green and yellow sage fields of spring or the snow-dusted hills of winter in the Wenatchee foothills. This abundant valley of orchards is nicknamed “Apple Capital of the World.” Sample the bounty of Wenatchee, from crisp apples and fresh roasted nuts to locally pickled vegetables at the Pybus Public Market.

Wines produced in the Wenatchee Valley and throughout Chelan County have been recognized in national publications such as the Wine Spectator, Gourmet and Sunset Magazine. Take the walking route to tour the valley for wine, beer and cider. There are 22 wineries and breweries along the route. And when you fly Alaska Airlines, you can ship a case of wine for free.

Ohme Gardens

The Ohme Gardens opened April 15. Ohme is a nine-acre garden paradise that you must visit while in Wenatchee. Plan on spending a day there.
