Safe Travels to Phoenix

If you are working from home, why not work in Phoenix?  You could be sitting beside a pool with your laptop instead of your home office.  It’s the perfect destination where you can work and play in a safe and warm environment.  Plus, it’s easy to get there from Wichita.  Allegiant Air flies nonstop into Phoenix-Mesa, and Southwest Airlines will resume nonstop service on Nov. 21.

With nearly perfect year-round weather and beautiful scenery, a visit to Phoenix will do wonders for your cabin fever. The Sonoran Desert scenery is stunning.  Great hiking trails, mountains and desert adventures are waiting for you to explore.  The famous saguaro grows only in the Sonoran Desert.  The Phoenix Mountains Preserve includes thousands of acres of pristine hiking and biking trails.  You’ll also find dozens of parks and preserves offering hundreds of miles of multi-use trails for hiking and biking.

Phoenix is a golfer’s paradise, with nearly 200 golf courses waiting for you.  If you fly Southwest, your golf clubs can be substituted for one checked bag at no cost.  After golf, relax by a pool with your favorite tropical drink.  If arts and culture appeals to you, Phoenix offers 16 museums including the renowned Heard Museum, 13 performing arts and theaters, and 3 art galleries.

The Phoenix Zoo has more than 1,400 animals, plus kids can splash around in the zoo’s two water playgrounds.  Take the family on a guided horseback ride, water parks, and check out the interactive and educational museums.  Or how about a scenic hot air balloon ride? With so many family-friendly activities, you’ll want to go back every year.
