Public Information Workshop – Airport Master Plan

The Wichita Airport Authority is conducting an airport master plan for the Dwight D. Eisenhower National Airport with the objective to provide guidelines for the airport’s development. The master plan is a proactive document which identifies and plans for future facility needs well in advance of the actual need. This is done to ensure that airport management can coordinate and manage projects. The master plan examines needs over a 20-year period and takes approximately 18 months to complete.

The public is invited to attend another open house on Tuesday, April 28, anytime between 4:30 – 5:30 pm to visit with the project team. The open house will be held at the Wichita Airport Authority Administration Building, 2173 Air Cargo Rd., Wichita.

Draft chapters of the master plan, as they become available, can be viewed on the project website at https://eisenhower.airportstudy.net. Interested parties can also utilize the “Comment” feature on the project website.
