New One-stop International Routes from Wichita

In 2020, Wichita Eisenhower National Airport will offer new, one-stop international routes, thanks to American Airlines.  Next summer you can fly to these international locations with only one stop:

  • Wichita (ICT) to Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) to Tel Aviv, Israel (TLV) – beginning September 9
  • Wichita (ICT) to Chicago (ORD) to Krakow, Poland (KRK) – beginning May 7
  • Wichita (ICT) to Chicago (ORD) to Budapest, Hungary (BUD) – beginning May 7
  • Wichita (ICT) to Chicago (ORD) to Prague, Czech Republic (PRG) – beginning May 8

Tel Aviv, Israel

American is adding three weekly flights year-round from DFW to Tel Aviv that will start September 9, 2020. The airline will use a Boeing 787-9 for this route and with a distance of nearly 7,000 miles, this will be one of American’s longest routes.

Krakow, Poland

American will launch five weekly seasonal flights between ORD and Krakow for the summer of 2020. For this route, American will use a Boeing 787-8 seats and the flight will operate from May 7, 2020 until October 23, 2020.

Budapest, Hungary

American will add four weekly seasonal flights from ORD to Budapest for the summer of 2020. This route will also use a Boeing 787-8 and will operate from May 7, 2020 through October 24, 2020.

Prague, Czech Republic

American will launch five weekly seasonal flights between ORD and Prague for the summer of 2020. A Boeing 787-8 will be used for this route and the flight will operate from May 8, 2020 to October 24, 2020.
