Latest Flight Information from ICT

Check out the latest flight information from ICT. Upgraded aircraft and more flights are coming soon on several airlines including Allegiant, American, Delta, Southwest and United.

ALLEGIANT AIR

Allegiant is increasing flights to Phoenix-Mesa in March. They will operate Monday, Wednesday and Friday. In April, the schedule will go back to two weekly flights.

AMERICAN AIRLINES

American will upgrade one of its DFW flights in April and May. They will replace one of their regional jets with a 140-seat MD82 aircraft. This will give us two daily MD82s and four daily regional jets. In June, American will serve the Dallas market with one MD82 and five 76-seat regional jets.

American, operated by SkyWest, will add a fourth daily flight to Chicago (ORD) in June. SkyWest operates 50-seat regional jets.

DELTA AIR LINES

In March, Delta will add a third daily flight to Minneapolis with 50-seat regional jets. In April, one of these regional jets will upgrade to a 69-seat CRJ-700. It will upgrade to a 76-seat CRJ-900 in July.

SOUTHWEST AIRLINES

Sundays June 7 – August 5, Southwest will have two departures to Las Vegas:

ICT 1:25 p.m. -> LAS 2:00 p.m.

ICT 6:55 p.m. -> LAS 7:30 p.m.

LAS 8:30 a.m. -> ICT 12:55 p.m.

LAS 2:00 p.m. -> ICT 6:25 p.m.

UNITED AIRLINES

United has made some first quarter capacity cutbacks across their Domestic network for seasonal shaping. Wichita was included in those cutbacks.

United temporarily removed its one narrow-body aircraft, an Airbus 320, to Denver in February, but it will return April with a 737-800 that seats 166 passengers. United has also eliminated its 6:15 am departure to Denver but plans to bring it back in April. The first flight out is now at 9:40 am. Until April, United will operate 50-seat regional jets to Denver. Then it will operate one daily 737-800 or -900 with 179 seats and 3 daily ERJ-145 with 50 seats.

To Houston, United will upgrade equipment in April and May, using a 76-seat E-170 and a 76-seat E-175 daily, in addition to two 50-seat ERJs. In June, United will operate three daily flights using 50-seat regional jets.

To Chicago, United will operate four daily flights with three, 50-seat regional jets and one 70-seat E-170 March through May.
