Celebrating Three Years of the New ICT Terminal

Dwight D. Eisenhower National Airport’s new terminal opened three years ago today! Since June 3, 2015, over 4.6 million passengers have flown in and out of the new terminal.

Airlines

When the new terminal opened in 2015, five airlines served ICT: Allegiant, American, Delta, Southwest and United. In its three years of operation, we have seen the addition of two new airlines: Alaska Airlines (April 13, 2017) and Frontier Airlines (coming Aug. 30).

Destinations

ICT has also benefited from several new destinations over the past three years. Since the new terminal opened, we have gained nonstop access to St. Louis and Phoenix with Southwest, Seattle with Alaska and Orlando-Sanford with Allegiant. This August, Frontier will be the second airline to connect Wichita to Denver.
