Wichita Eisenhower National Airport reports that 74,033 passengers departed ICT in June, an increase of 9.71% over June 2021. The number of seats increased 12% while the number of flights stayed about the same, an indication of larger aircraft. Total passengers arriving and departing ICT were 149,342, an increase of 10.36% over last June. June enplanements were 237% higher than June 2020, but 13% less than June 2019. U.S. enplanements are behind June 2019 by 11%. It should be noted that ICT’s all-time monthly high occurred in June 2019 with 85,022 enplanements and 169,541 total passengers. To date, 700,129 passengers have flown in and out of ICT, an increase of 32% over 2021. There were 30 average weekday departures in June compared to 28 last June.
Revenue from food and gifts increased 12.83%, rental car revenue increased 15.39%, and parking lot revenue increased 3.34%.
Total air cargo dipped -.24% and for the year is down 5.40%.
