Starting November 2, 2025, American Airlines is expanding service between Wichita and Phoenix with a second daily nonstop flight. Both flights will be operated on the comfortable 76-seat Embraer 175, offering travelers more flexibility and more connection opportunities through American’s Phoenix hub. The nonstop service is currently scheduled to operate Nov. 2 – Dec. 2, and then Dec. 18 – Jan. 5.

Wichita to Phoenix
✈️ Depart: 8:42 a.m. – Arrive: 10:36 a.m.
✈️ Depart: 2:39 p.m. – Arrive: 4:26 p.m.
Phoenix to Wichita
✈️ Depart: 9:45 a.m. – Arrive: 1:12 p.m.
✈️ Depart: 8:10 p.m. – Arrive: 11:34 p.m.
With this expanded service, travelers can enjoy more connections to popular West Coast destinations and beyond, including the Hawaiian Islands—Lihue, Honolulu, Kahului/Maui, and Kona. Phoenix also offers convenient connections to Puerto Vallarta and Mexico City.
