Winter Weather Travel Advisory 2011

NOTICE: The connector bridge from westbound U.S. 54 to southbound Eisenhower Airport Parkway in Wichita will be closed for maintenance starting Tuesday, May 28. To follow the signed detour, motorists should continue westbound on U.S. 54 and take the exit onto Tyler Road. From there, drivers should take eastbound U.S. 54 and exit onto West Kellogg Drive. Follow West Kellogg Drive to southbound Eisenhower Airport Parkway.

Winter Weather Travel Advisory

Date:  January 9, 2011

AirTran has cancelled all Wichita-Atlanta  inbound and outbound flights on Monday, January 10 due to the winter weather system expected to move into Atlanta Sunday evening and Monday.  AirTran expects major disruptions to operations in their Atlanta hub, which will cause delays and cancellations throughout their network.  AirTran is currently rebooking passengers for flights.

Delta has also cancelled all flights between Wichita-Atlanta on Monday, and the first departing flight for Minneapolis on Monday. 

American reported one cancellation to/from Dallas today, and Delta cancelled its 5:15 p.m. departure today to Atlanta. 

Passengers are advised to check with their airline for updated travel information.
