The Wichita Airport Authority is conducting an airport master plan for the Dwight D. Eisenhower National Airport with the objective to provide guidelines for the airport’s development. The master plan is a proactive document which identifies and plans for future facility needs well in advance of the actual need. This is done to ensure that airport management can coordinate and manage projects. The master plan examines needs over a 20-year period and will take approximately 18 months to complete.
The public is invited to attend an open house on Tuesday, March 4, anytime between 4:30 – 5:30 pm to visit with the project team. The open house will be held at the Wichita Airport Authority Administration Building, 2173 Air Cargo Rd., Wichita.
Draft chapters of the master plan can be viewed on the project website. Interested parties can also utilize the “Comment” feature on the project website.
