Passengers Continue to Increase in May

During the month of May, 84,966 passengers boarded flights out of Wichita Eisenhower National Airport, an increase of 4% over May 2023. Year-to-date, enplanements have increased 7.11%, at 374,750. May’s enplanements were just .1% less than May 2019’s record high of 85,022. For the first five months of 2024, enplanements are up 1% over the same period in 2019.
There were 32 average weekday departures compared to 28 in May 2023. The airlines operated 14.7% more flights and 4.5% more seats than in May 2023.
