Exciting news for ICT travelers! American Airlines and Delta have added new nonstop destinations from their hubs, giving ICT travelers one stop access to several captivating vacation spots.
AMERICAN AIRLINES
American will offer customers five new routes to Europe starting in summer 2025. Two of those routes can be accessed with just one connection from Wichita.
MADRID and BARCELONA

FIJI
Starting December 10, 2024, travelers from Wichita can fly to Nadi, Fiji (NAN) on American Airlines connecting to Fiji Airways in Dallas/Ft. Worth. FiJi Airways is joining the One World Alliance of which American Airlines belongs, making it possible to seamlessly connect to Fiji Airways in Dallas. Fiji is also joining American Airlines’ AAdvantage program.
The service will operate three times per week every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday on Airbus A350-00 XWB aircraft. The aircraft features 301 economy class seats and 33 business class lie-flat, all aisle access, seats. From DFW, it is a 13-hour flight. UNITED AIRLINES
United Airlines announced several new international destinations from their hubs in Newark, Washington Dulles, and Houston.
From Houston:
- Beginning April 5, 2025, United will be the first and only airline to connect the U.S. to Puerto Escondido. Located in Oaxaca on the Pacific coast of Mexico, Puerto Escondido is a small beach town approximately 800 kilometers southeast of Mexico City.
