The Bureau of Transportation Statistics recently released its Q2 2024 average airfare report. The average airfare at Wichita Eisenhower National Airport in Q2 2024 was $441.51, a decrease of 4% compared to Q2 2023. The U.S. average fare was $382.25, a decrease of 2%. Wichita ranked as the 103rd busiest airport in the U.S. based on 2023 passengers. Wichita’s fare is in line with peer airports in the region.

Fares are based on the total ticket value which consists of the price charged by the airlines plus any additional taxes and fees levied by an outside entity at the time of purchase.
