According to the Federal Aviation Administration, no vehicles can be left unattended within 300 feet of the terminal building. Any vehicle left unattended will be ticketed and may be towed.
If you are picking up guests arriving at the airport, you may park free of charge in one of the 16 spaces in the Cell Phone Waiting Lot. Once your guests have claimed their bags, they can call your cell phone to let you know they are ready to be picked up at the terminal. The new Cell Phone Waiting Lot is located off Mid-Continent Drive at the Park & Ride Lot exit, about one minute's drive from the terminal. Vehicles must be attended at all times, and there is a one-hour parking limit. Drivers are encouraged to turn off vehicles when temperatures permit.
Vehicles are not allowed to park and wait for arriving passengers in front of the terminal building. It is recommended you either use the cell phone waiting lot, or take advantage of the first 30 minutes of FREE parking in the short-term lot.
