Park & Ride Rates Lowered at Airport

Wichita airport officials have lowered the maximum daily parking rate in the Park & Ride lot from $7.00 to $6.00 a day, to encourage passengers to use the new Park & Ride lot at Mid-Continent Airport.  The Park & Ride lot offers a free shuttle to the terminal building and rotates about every 10 minutes between the lot and the terminal.

“With upcoming construction projects, more motorists should use the Park & Ride lot, and shift some demand away from the long-term lot, which overflows frequently,” Brad Christopher, Assistant Director of Airports, said. “Once passengers use the Park & Ride lot, they will find it convenient.”
